Steve is a highly experienced, Military Space Solutions, Operations and Service Delivery Leader.

Steve has worked within the Military Aerospace field for more than thirty years. He started his journey in defence with 14 years of service in the Royal Air Force, to amassing more than twenty-five years of experience in delivering Military Satellite Communications capability to the UK, the US and a number of Allied Nations.

Steve holds the role of Head of Global Sales for Airbus Secure Connectivity business.

As a result of his background Steve is both customer and user focussed leader, possessing a track record of delivering solutions based not only technical requirements and standards, but also designed to align with concept of operations and use case scenarios. Steve strives to understand user needs and looks to solve problems and challenges through exploiting cutting edge technology, best practice processes and commercial models that work for the customer.

Some of Steve’s career highlights have been from the delivery of MilSatCom into Afghanistan and Iraq as part of Operation Synergy, to leading the Joint Service Assurance Delivery team to demonstrate and later present readiness of Skynet 5 Capability to the Authority at MOD main building for the Skynet Full Operational Capability Milestone. Then to an international assignment as General Manager of Paradigm Services UAE in Abu Dhabi; Airbus was awarded a three-year contract extension during Steve’s tenure. Steve returned to the UK to become Head of Skynet 5 Service Delivery. Following this, Steve has been a key leader in building a solutions team for Airbus to deliver a number of successful solutions in the Military Space domain.

Steve lives in Corsham, Wiltshire, with his wife Dawn and two sons. In his spare time Steve has many sporting hobbies including Rugby (watching these days), Cycling, Skiing and generally keeping fit. He also on occasion, blows his own Trumpet, literally.
