Maj Gen (Ret.) Roch Pelletier serves as Regional Vice President, Defence, Europe and the United Kingdom at Calian, a role he assumed following his retirement from the Canadian Armed Forces in January 2025 after 36 years of distinguished service.

He brings extensive executive leadership experience in complex, multinational operational environments, as well as deep expertise in military doctrine, training, and professional education. Over the course of his military career, he held a number of senior appointments, including:

• Commander, Canadian Army Doctrine and Training Centre (CADTC)
• Director General Intelligence, Operations, and Plans, Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC)
• Commander, 5th Canadian Division and Deputy Commander, Joint Task Force Atlantic (JTFA)
• Deputy Commander (Operations), United States Army, Alaska

Roch has led diverse teams across complex domestic and international operations, building a strong reputation in designing and delivering effective, technology-enabled training to enhance operational readiness.

Today, he leads Calian’s Defence team across Europe and the UK, overseeing more than 250 employees and 1,000 contractors delivering mission-critical training and operational solutions across tactical to strategic levels. His team supports NATO and its member nations by strengthening multi-domain readiness through deep expertise, trusted networks, and proven delivery.
