Emma Lucas is Client Services Director at Experis Academy, leading workforce transformation and upskilling initiatives across the defence, space, and satellite communications sectors. She works with industry, government, and academia to address critical skills shortages, with a particular focus on mid-level engineering capability and future workforce development. Emma has been instrumental in developing the first UK and European SATCOM Systems Engineering upskilling programme and regularly collaborates with the UK Space Agency, space clusters, and industry leaders to create data-driven solutions that strengthen the UK’s defence and space skills ecosystem.
