Terence Schuermans was named Product Line Manager for SATCOM at Thales in January 2026.

Previously, Terence served as Product Line Manager for Defense & Science amplification sources at Thales, where he managed product lines for various applications, including electronic warfare, missile seekers, SATCOM, and directed-energy weapons. During this time, he also held a temporary appointment as Marketing and Strategy Director for the Microwave and Imaging Sub-System business line.

Prior to these roles, he held various strategic positions within Thales, including serving as Product Policy Officer at the corporate headquarters. Earlier in his career, Terence served as an International Relations Officer for the French Command of the land combat forces.

Terence holds a master’s degree in Strategy, Intelligence, and Risk Management from Sciences Po Lille and a master’s degree in International Financial Analysis.
