Gil Elizov is Vice President of Product & Solutions for Defense SATCOM at Gilat Satellite Networks.

He has more than 25 years of experience in satellite communications, combining product strategy, system architecture, sales engineering, and technical capture for government, defense, and commercial markets.

In his current role, Gil leads product roadmap, solution architecture, and go-to-market activities for multi-orbit SATCOM solutions across land, sea, and air domains.

Before this role, Gil served as VP Products at Gilat, leading SkyEdge IV product activities and advancing initiatives in SDN, cloud architecture, and 5G non-terrestrial networks.

Earlier in his career, he held architecture and product roles across mobility, X-Architecture, TotalNMS, network management systems, and broadband wireless access. Gil holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Science in Education from Holon Institute of Technology.
