Gurur Gaye Günal

Gurur Gaye Günal, a lawyer and CEO of Şira Space, completed her law degree at Istanbul University and then pursued further studies in Arbitration Law at the American University Washington College of Law. Driven by her passion for space exploration and technology, she obtained a master’s degree in Space Media and Telecommunication Law from Luxembourg University.

To deepen her interest in space, she took courses in astrophysics at the Australian National University (ANUx), Space Shuttle Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MITx), and Mission Design and Operations/New Space Economy at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFLx).

Additionally, she completed courses in CubeSat Project and Planetary Robotic at Luxembourg University.

Günal’s interdisciplinary approach, combining legal expertise with engineering knowledge, along with her diverse educational background and practical experience, enable her to create valuable assets in space technology within the rapidly evolving field of space law and technology.
