VP Business Development, Defence and Intelligence, Earth Daily Analytics
Pete is the Vice President Business Development, Defence and Intelligence, for Earth Daily Analytics. This role carries a global remit.
Previously, during his 33-year military career as a fast jet pilot he served in the USA twice and Brussels. Outside flying he majored in International Defence Relations and capability development. After a tour as the UK Representative to NATO Supreme Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk VA he became the Capability Director in the European Defence Agency. Here he was responsible for more than 100 Capability and Research and Technology programs including the EU ‘Flagship 4’ Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, Cyber Defence, Air-to-Air Refuelling and Government Satellite Communications program. He oversaw the relationship with OCCAR and defence industries for capability issues across the whole defence domain. More recently he chaired a Kleos Space, a listed company, which launched 16 satellites for RF Geolocation. Most recently he supported a startup developing an in-space Space Domain Awareness capability.
Today he is also Chair of Trustees for the Royal Aeronautical Society and a Consulting Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. He lives with his family in North Yorkshire, UK.
